Michele Lodone (PhD, 2016) is an assistant professor of Medieval history at the University of Modena. He studied at the Scuola Normale of Pisa and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales of Paris, and was Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow at the Universities of Venice and Chicago. His work deals with late medieval and early modern cultural history, focusing mainly on religious dissent, prophecy and the relation between religion and society. He is the author of I segni della fine. Storia di un predicatore nell’Italia del Rinascimento (Rome: Viella, 2021).
